For 2017, East St. Louis, Illinois comes in at number one on the list
of most dangerous cities in the United States, surpassing Chicago,
Detroit and Flint, Michigan, which came in 4th. So what is special
about East St. Louis?
96.44% African American
This seems to be a much more common trait with respect to killings
than the availability of guns.
It is what it is.
Call it what it is. A democrat social engineering success story.

In the 50's and 60's, ESL was a rough and tumble, bustling river city.
There were many subdivisions on the outskirts of the city and blue collar
jobs were plentiful on both sides of the Mississippi river. Many ESL
suburbians commuted over the Eads and Veterans bridges daily.

It was a politically corrupt city, thanks largely to the Illinois Democrat
political machine, and the influence of traditionally Democrat run St
Louis across the Mississippi in Missouri.

There were many good schools in Edgemont, Caseyville, Collinsville,
Belleville, French Village and others. In many cases there were two or
more Lutheran, Catholic or other Christian schools for every one public
school. Centrally located East St Louis schools lagged behind the others.
These were the older public schools with more impoverished students.

There was a wealth of employment in ESL during the 50's and 60's. Obear
Nester Glass, Monsanto, National Stockyards, various railroads, auto parts
manufacturing, auto assembly, grain storage, millers, iron and steel
works, barge logistics, tugboat maintenace and repair, many others.

Life was tough for some, but rewarding and good for most.

Then came the Eastern invasion, or rather the Mississippi dumping. Back
then they weren't called liberals. They were called agitators. The
agitators were nothing more than Democrat political and racist activists
looking to drum up a voting base.

They use the weapons of discrimination and racism to attack where none
exists.

First there was Brown vs. Board of Education. This effectively destroyed
most of the decent public schools in ESL with forced integration that
worked out like diarrhea in a swimming pool.

Next came a flood of some of the most ignorant blacks ever bred on planet
Earth. The Eastern agitators were behind it. They first went to
Springfield Illinois to sell their pitch of racial integration and
equality, then to Mississippi where they encouraged impoverished,
unskilled and unteachable blacks to migrate to the "Gateway to the West".
They were promised jobs and educational opportunities, read "acceptance"
for their genetically inferior spawn.

The Eastern agitators were primarily from Massachusetts, Connecticut, New
Hampshire, and more specifically, Albany New York.

The black invasion of East Saint Louis began in earnest and the city was
never the same.

Black workers were "forced" on companies who made efforts to train them
and could not. To make room for the blacks, white workers were fired for
the most flimsy of reasons. Costly mistakes and work stoppages by lazy
incompetent black workers cost others wage increases, bonuses, and profit
sharing to make up for production delays and product losses.

Labor unions saw the ignorant blacks as fresh poaching material and took
advantage of them at every turn.

A corrupt black family, the black criminal Officer family, was installed
in ESL. Members of the family "ran" for office and were elected.

White people grew uneasy watching their job opportunities shrink and
companies move out of the area. Some were lucky and moved with the
company. Others found themselves unemployed, and forced to take multiple
jobs that barely made ends meet.

Forced school integration took a heavy toll. Most of the half-dozen
central ESL schools were 95% black or higher. In order to integrate those
schools, white children from suburban neighborhoods were bused in, at a
ratio of 15% white to 85% other, other being black.

The white children were attacked, beaten, robbed and otherwise abused,
while the school administrators were helpless to do anything about it.
Parents who complained went on an ignore list and were not allowed to
participate in any programs with parental involvement.

White children were attacked by male adult non-student black agitators
when leaving the school on a daily basis. School bus windows were broken
out in full view of black cops lounging on patrol cars in front of the
schools, they did nothing. White children who defended themselves were
punished while their black attackers were presented as the true victims.

Thus began the era of "white flight".

Frustrated by declining career employment prospects and business closures,
coupled with the abuse of their children, many families began moving from
ESL to farming communities an hour or more from the city, hoping to make
it to retirement.

East Saint Louis began a cycle of rapid decay, which has continued to the
present day.

Businesses moved or simply abandoned operations. The school integration
experiments? Most of them were quietly ended and the schools are now long
closed, collapsing and empty from lack of students and upkeep.

The agitators are nowhere to be found in ESL.

They are afraid to enter, afraid they will be killed by the beast they
have unleashed.

I know. I lived there. I experienced it.

I drove through it once (and avoided it after that) and it looked like
old photos of bombed out German cities....

It shocked me at the time.... and now I'd all but forgotten how East St
Louis has so much in common with Chicago and Detroit. Another on the
list of failed Democrat run cities. The view from the bridge was jaw
dropping.
